    Rules for the Forums

Post by Admin on Thu Mar 23, 2017 12:42 am

My rules for this forum are short, sweet, and rather easy. At least, the short version is. Here's the short version:

    1. One is to conduct oneself with honour, class, and dignity, as such hate speech is forbidden, bullying is heavily discouraged, and insulting is expected to not be the focus of a post.

    2. Arguing with the Admin is acceptable, as he is flexible and frequently changes his mind on things. Arguing with his hardworking minions in the ISB and Section 31, however, over a punishment or banned post where they moderate, is not. Admin knows he can take the strain of moderating and doesn't mind listening to arguments, but he does not know if his moderators would want it or not.

    3. Off-topic posts are to be reserved to the Corners of the respective groups. Failure to comply will result in both you looking foolish and a Moderator deleting the offending post.

    4. If I find you multiaccounting to spy on the other side's Corner...nothing will happen, because they probably have nothing there anyways.

    5. Logically fallacious arguments are discouraged, as they are easily shred.

    6. The Admin reserves the right to change your posts for spelling concerns or to take out hate speech, but otherwise will leave what you say to you.

The long version is in Admin's head, and may or may not ever be fully typed out. Basically, however, following these 6 will make it so you don't make me mad.

So how would one hypothetically become a Mod on the forum then, out of strict curiosity?

    How to become a Moderator

Well, you already are one, so I'm assuming you are asking for everyone else's sake? Alright, I'll detail how you become a moderator.

    1. Become a Veteran (35 posts, remember that spamming short posts just to increase rank is not allowed and offending posts will be deleted)
    2. Become an Agent (Moderator for your corner, either ISB Agent or Section 31 Agent). Agents are decided upon by the Councillors or Grand Admirals, depending on which side you are on.
    3. Demonstrate to me that you will not abuse your moderator power or status with the corner.
    4. Be placed on probationary status as a Moderator and demonstrate that you will not abuse power within the section I designate for you to moderate.
